All prices per ton, unless noted, FOB the stack.
Compared to last week: Alfalfa and grass steady as high quality hay
supplies diminished. Very good demand for hay with sub-arctic winter
weather and snow experienced the area in the past weeks. Transportation
was impacted again by cold weather and snow making moving hay difficult.
Weather will return to winter normal winter temperatures this next week
will help transportation and give some much-needed relief to the area.
All hay and straw sold by the ton FOB, unless otherwise noted.
