Weekly Montana Hay Report

Compared to last week: Alfalfa hay sold fully steady.
Demand remains mostly good for squares, and light to 
moderate for rounds. Supplies of squares are very tight 
as out of state buyers continue to absorb square supplies. 
Round supplies remain very large. Large supplies of lower 
quality hay are available in rounds and sales continue to 
be made at steady money. Straw sales continue to be made 
at steady money. All prices are dollars per ton and FOB 
unless otherwise noted.
