Week ending 03/16/2018 Although Spring is drawing closer many in east central and northeast Missouri were questioning that following 2-4 inches of snow last Saturday. Areas are greening up but growth so far is slow as warmer temperatures are needed to give grass a good kick start. Hay piles seem to have really dwindled over the last month. Not all farmers are out of hay by any means but many are not overly eager to sale any hay especially if it is good quality and worth carrying over.
