Alfalfa trade light this week. Movement was very light. Much needed rainfall over much of central and eastern Oklahoma contributed to the limited trade and movement this week. Demand was good for all alfalfa offerings. Supplies are very light. Grass hay trading was mostly light. Demand was moderate to good but weather and muddy conditions especially in eastern counties limited movement. Much of western Oklahoma received very little or no rain and drought conditions remain even in most areas that received rain this week. Market News continues to maintain an online hay directory for both in-state and out-of-state hay producers. The directories are on the ODAFF homepage at www.oda.state.ok.us.
