Alfalfa trade and movement light to very light. Demand is very good for all alfalfa but supplies extremely light. Prices are steady to firm in the light test. Buyers reporting fewer sources for all classes of hay and continue to look out of state for supplies. Grass hay demand also good and movement was mostly moderate. Most current grass hay offerings are of poor to fair quality. Drought conditions continue to worsen for much of the state. Alfalfa growers are still spraying for aphids and hoping rains forecast for the weekend materialize.
