Weekly Texas Hay Report

   Compared to last report before the 4th of July:  All classes of hay 
traded mostly steady to 5.00 higher.  Movement was light to moderate as 
supply remains low and demand high.  Most of the state continues to wait 
for rain to see if they will have another cutting of hay.  Variety of hay 
and top quality Alfalfa has become difficult to find as most has been 
contracted and waiting for another cutting.  Prices for hay and pellets 
quoted per ton except where noted.
