Compared to last week: All classes traded steady with moderate demand.
According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, unsettled weather continued for several
days from the Pacific Northwest to the northern Rockies, leading to some further
reductions in the coverage of dryness and moderate to severe drought. Early-
season precipitation has been especially generous in west-central and
northwestern Oregon; northern, central, and southeastern Idaho; western Wyoming;
southern and westernmost Montana; and parts of northern Utah. All hay is
reported FOB the stack or barn unless otherwise noted. Regions are defined at
bottom of report.
