Weekly Texas Hay Report

  Compared to last report:  All hay classes traded fully steady on light 
to moderate movement.  Cooler temperatures in the Panhandle has fall in 
the air but hay movement has not picked up yet.  Most of the state was 
dry except for the coast recently hit by hurricane Harvey.  Coastal 
Bermuda producers that remained dry and have plenty of hay in stock were 
happy to donate hay to livestock stranded on the coast.  Some hay in 
flooded areas had to be delivered by boat.  
   Prices for hay and pellets quoted per ton except where noted.

Panhandle/High Plains:
