Hay trade mostly slow to moderate. Demand for Supreme and Premium quality dairy hay remains moderate at best although supplies are fairly light for these grades. Bulk of current alfalfa offerings are mostly Good to Fair quality and demand for this type hay is fairly good. Grass hay movement continues very light although producers are actively swathing and baling now. Prices remain steady although Premium quality prices very lightly tested. Temperatures are moving higher and portions of central and eastern Oklahoma are becoming dry. Western Oklahoma: Premium quality new crop large square bales few sales 120.00- 130.00, mostly 120.00-125.00. Good quality 80.00-110.00, mostly 80.00-90.00. Grass Hay Central Oklahoma: Old crop Good Bermuda 4 X 5 bales 30.00-45.00 per bale, 5 X6 bales 50.00-60.00. Western Oklahoma: Good quality new crop wheat hay 5 X 5 1/2 to 5 X 6 bales mostly 50.00/bale or 80.00 per ton.
