Washington-Oregon (Columbia Basin) Weekly Hay Report

   Compared to last Friday, All grades of Alfalfa and Timothy steady in a light 
test. Trade remains slow. Demand excellent as remaining supplies are in firm hands. 
Most growers are foregoing spraying on new crop this year as if they spray now it 
will delay harvest at least 2 weeks more than normal. Not spraying will affect 1st 
cutting quality negatively. Retail/Feed store steady.  All prices are dollars per 
ton and FOB the farm or ranch unless otherwise stated.
