Weekly Texas Hay Report

   Compared to last report:  All hay classes sold fully steady as most 
hay has been contracted. Hay is only trickling out of the barns this time 
of year as the wait for new crop is in full swing.  The Panhandle 
received some rain that benefitted wheat pastures and ensured spring is 
around the corner.  East and north Texas Coastal Bermuda producers are 
ready to spray fields to get ready for new crop if the rain will let up 
for them to get into fields.  Prices for hay and pellets quoted per ton 
except where noted.
