Colorado Hay Report

   Compared to last week, trade mostly inactive on light demand.  According to 
the U.S. Drought Monitor’s High Plains summary for April 9, 2019, precipitation 
across the High Plains was generally near normal over the last week, with the 
exception of northeast Nebraska and southeast South Dakota.  USDA NRCS Colorado 
SNOTEL River Basin Index percentages for Thursday, April 11, 2019:  Gunnison 
145, Upper Colorado 126, South Platte 116, Laramie and North Platte 114, Yampa 
and White 111, Arkansas 133, Upper Rio Grande 139, and San Miguel, Dolores, 
Animas and San Juan 155.  The next available report will be Thursday, April 18, 
2019.  All prices reported are FOB at the stack or barn unless otherwise noted.  
Prices reflect load lots of hay.  If you have hay for sale or need hay, use the
