South Dakota Weekly Hay Summary

All prices per ton, unless noted, FOB the stack.

Compared to last week: Few reported sales this week. Wet ground
conditions continue to make it very difficult to get hay transported.
Demand remains good to very good for all types of hay and bedding.
Warmer weather this week helped out wet yard and fields, but a large
thunderstorm moved through the area bringing more moisture. The weather
is expected to be near or above average temperatures. All hay and straw
sold by the ton FOB, unless otherwise noted.
