Hay market trade activity is slow to moderate. Demand is light to moderate, and
prices remain steady. Most of the hay moving are clean up loads or previously
sold contracts. No new hay sales have been reported, apart from a few spot
loads here and there. According to NASS, topsoil moisture supplies rated 0
percent very short, 1 short, 75 adequate, and 24 surplus. Subsoil moisture
supplies rated 0 percent very short, 1 short, 78 adequate, and 21 surplus. If
