Demand mostly moderate in East River, with better demand seen at times from the Western half of the state. Interest has started to pick up especially from West River, however many end-users are not willing to commit to a purchase yet. Drought concerns are starting to be voiced by some hay producers, as over 93 percent of the state is experiencing some level of drought currently. Depressed milk futures has the dairy industry looking to cheapen up their feed costs as much as they can. Class III Milk Futures are below 15.00 per cwt unitl mid summer.
