Weekly Texas Hay Report

   Compared to last report: All hay class sold firm with instances as 
much as 20.00 higher on top quality Alfalfa.  Movement was good across 
the state as buyers continued to stock up and the drought in the 
Panhandle continues to be of concern.  As quantity of quality hay 
decreases combined with climbing diesel prices explains the increasing 
hay market prices.  Prices for hay and pellets quoted per ton except 
where noted.
