Compared to last week: All classes traded steady with moderate demand.
According to Crop Progress report May 19, 2019, sunflowers were planted and
wheat harvest will begin soon in Imperial County. In the Sacramento Valley,
winter wheat progressed well. Corn continued to be planted in Kings County.
Alfalfa harvest continued. Blackeye peas were planted. In Tulare County, wheat,
alfalfa, and oats were harvested. Silage crops were being cut. Corn and cotton
continued to be planted. Hay is reported FOB the stack or barn unless otherwise
noted. Regions are defined at bottom of report.
