Weekly Texas Hay Report

   Compared to last report: Hay traded steady on light to moderate demand 
with pastures in good shape.  The panhandle has had a break in the rain 
for producers to get wheat hay baled.  Hay season has been delayed across 
the state due to rain but producers are in their fields this week trying 
to get hay baled if pasture is dry enough.  Should be a large supply of 
hay available but quality may be the issue since baling was delayed.   
Prices for hay and pellets quoted per ton except where noted.
