Washington-Oregon (Columbia Basin) Weekly Hay Report

   Compared to last Friday, All grades of Alfalfa for export steady in a light 
test. Trade slow to moderate. Demand good. Retail/Feed store not tested this week.  
Some parts of the trade area are planning on harvesting 1st cutting new crop next 
week if conditions are right. First new crop export contracts reported this week. 
The cutoff RFV test for export Alfalfa is 135.1 or better for the higher prices, 
lower than 135.1 RFV is for the discounted prices. All prices are dollars per ton 
and FOB the farm or ranch unless otherwise stated. Delivered prices include 
freight, commissions and other expenses.
