   Compared to last week, alfalfa hay large bales prices steady to 20.00 lower.
Trade moderate to active, demand good. The southern region is now in their second
cutting.  The Southeastern and eastern region is about halfway in their first
cutting.

Eastern region: Alfalfa Large Square Bales:  Premium and Supreme; 230.00-245.00, 
Good quality; 215.00-230.00 del.

Baled Wheat Hay:  180.00-190.00 per ton delivered from out of state.

Ground Hay: 178.00.

Southeastern regions:

Alfalfa Small Square Bales:  Premium and Supreme Bundle(21 bales) two tie 300.00 per
ton loaded on truck.

Wheat Hay: 3x3x4 Large Bales 190.00 per ton.
 
Southern and Southwestern region:

Alfalfa: Large Square Bales 3x3x4:  Premium and Supreme 200.00-220.00, Good quality
180.00-200.00 delivered to dairies.

Small Bales Alfalfa ; Premium and Supreme quality: 9.00-11.00 per bale FOB.

Wheat hay: Large Bales 160.00-200.00 per ton, small bales two tie 4.50 per bale.

Oat Hay: 160.00-180.00 per ton.

North central Region:

Alfalfa: Small Square Bales:  Premium and Supreme three tie 19.00, two tie 13.00 per
bale.
