Washington-Oregon (Columbia Basin) Weekly Hay Report

   Compared to last Friday, all grades of new crop Alfalfa 20.00-30.00 higher. 
Trade slow to moderate. Demand remains good. More new crop is being reported this 
week. All reported sales this week are for new crop. Rain showers are in the 
forecast for the next few days making new alfalfa more mature than normal resulting 
in lower RFV tests. Demand good. Retail/Feed store steady.   All prices are dollars 
per ton and FOB the farm or ranch unless otherwise stated. Delivered prices include 
freight, commissions and other expenses.
