Washington-Oregon (Columbia Basin) Weekly Hay Report

Tons:  6130    Last Week:  2600    Last Year:  3100 

   Compared to last Friday, domestic and export 3rd, 4th and 5th cutting Alfalfa 
steady in a light test. Trade slow to moderate with light demand from exporters, 
more interest was shown from dairies this week. Most exporters reported they were 
off the market this week. High testing Alfalfa is in short supply. 4th and 5th 
cuttings are reportedly testing high on reduced yields. Retail/Feed store steady.  
All prices are dollars per ton and FOB the farm or ranch unless otherwise stated.
