Weekly Texas Hay Report

   Compared to last report:  Most hay classes remained steady.  Average 
ground and delivered Alfalfa traded with instances 20.00 lower.  Supply 
and demand were good with a variety of hay on the market as we head into 
the fall months.  CRP, hay grazer and wheat hay were trickling into the 
market this time of year.  Coastal Bermuda producers in the East and 
South are working on baling their 4th crop of the season; some have 
reported problems with army worms.  Prices for hay and pellets quoted per 
ton except where noted.
