Compared to last report: All hay classes traded remained steady.
Movement continues to be hampered by rainfall across the state. The
Panhandle received more rain mid-week after being able to dry out a few
days. CRP and Wheat hay are the new hay variety on the market for now.
The North, East and South rainfall has made getting a 4th cutting
difficult. Some are worried that they will not be able to get the much
needed 4th cutting before the first frost. Prices for hay and pellets
quoted per ton except where noted.
